Do you have a child that loves to write? Or one that would like to gain more confidence in his or her writing? My after-school writing workshops are designed help eager writers blossom and reluctant writers find their voices.
Currently, I am in the process of becoming a Writopia-accredited writing instructor. The Writopia method works because the participants are able to relax, brainstorm, experiment with writing exercises, laugh, and freely write in the genres they wish. “I just wanted to send you a huge note of thanks for all of your incredible counsel you provided my son this past year. Writopia’s mission includes:
* Providing young people with the creative inspiration and intellectual environment that may not be available to them at school.
* Helping each student become comfortable with expressing himself on paper and to ultimately cultivate (or maintain) a love of writing.
* Providing an open, safe, and nurturing space for young people who are highly engaged in creative and intellectual endeavors and for young people who struggle with verbal and written expression.
